This policy explains what information emojiaesthetic.org (“we”, “us”) collects, how cookies are used, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@emojiaesthetic.org.
Information we collect
You can use the whole site without an account, and we never ask for your name or contact details. The site stores a few settings only in your own browser (localStorage): your recently copied emojis, the combo you are building, your light/dark theme and your cookie choice. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Cookies and analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data.
We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are popular. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. Where required by law, Google Analytics only runs after you consent.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use or may use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the site free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If ads are not personalised, Google may still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
Your consent choices
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message before cookies are used for ads or analytics. Until you choose, Google receives only cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information. To use these rights for data held by Google, use your Google account privacy settings; for anything else, email us.
Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Clipboard
When you tap an emoji, the site writes that text to your clipboard. We never read your clipboard.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites, including our sister site Emojis Keyboard. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
